Permobil is on an exciting journey and we are expanding our Software & Electronics department to meet the demands for new IT-services for our customers and users worldwide. We are responsible for the product development of electronics and software for our complex rehab powered wheelchairs and online IT-services linked to the everyday life of the wheelchair user, clinicians and providers. We have developed an IoT-platform giving us the ability to easily develop services end-to-end from the wheelchair to the web, mobile applications and advanced analytics. We develop high quality software in the healthcare and medical device domain for the end user with cyber security and risk management built in from the start.

You will plan, design, develop and perform installations of our IT-services and development environment with continuous integration and deployment in focus. You will also participate in our architecture- and system design throughout our products entire life cycle.
You will help develop tools and techniques to reduce installation time, help in supervision of our environments, automate activities and increase quality for the production of our solutions.
You are required to follow and help improve our internal processes, methods and guidelines for software development.
We believe that you have a university degree or similar experience in the field of system administration and software development with a focus on system deployment, supervision and automation. Experience from the industry gives you an advantage but your drive, motivation and how well you fit our team are equally important.
It is crucial that you can design and develop manual and automated installation procedures, supervision of our solutions.
You can work both in teams and individually, you speak fluent and have good writing skills in English and Swedish.
We are a small team and it is vital that you see your contribution to the entire process and take part in all aspects of software development from requirements capture to verification of web applications. You are self-motivated, goal oriented and have good collaboration skills.
